Nutrition Data Sites

The NomNom GameKit does not include nutrition data with its kit.  There are a number of excellent resources online to obtain this data. Furthermore, because common serving size recommendation may vary, and there are often slight variations of caloric content, and tiny variants in the same foods produced ever slightly differently we feel its best designers utilize their preferred nutrition data source.

We recommend the following places as good sources of common nutritional information:

USDA Food Database
http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list

Self.Com Nutrient Database
http://nutritiondata.self.com

Calorie King Food Database
http://www.calorieking.com/foods/

MyNetDiary

Helpful Icon Sites

We make use of a lot of icon graphics and recommend these sites for quality low-cost icons to extend your kit designs.
